The existing patio area was too small for outdoor entertaining. The client also wanted to add height and interest to the back garden in the form of raised beds, a pergola and a range of plants.
The existing square patio was increased in size and rounded to make it more suitable for entertaining. Raised beds have been planted with contemporary planting and a pergola adds height and a feature to walk under. A small planted area against the laurel hedge adds focus and upright railway sleepers are illuminated at night time.
